Sun, Professor of Fudan University, got her Ph.D. degree from

in 1987. From 1984
through 1985, she worked as an inviting researcher in
Tokyo

. From 1990 through 1994, she worked as an International
Forgarty Fellow and Visiting Scholar in
Georgetown
University,
Washington
DC
. Feng-Yan Sun was appointed as Vice-Director and Professor
(1995-1999) and Director (1999--) of State Key Laboratory of
Medical Neurobiology, as Chair in the Department of Neurobiology
(2000--). Feng-Yan Sun is elected to take on The Editorial
Boards of Acta Pharmacologica Sinica, Neuroscience Bulletin,
Chinese Journal of Clinical Neurosciences and Acta Physiologica
Sinica. Professor Sun has been engaged in teaching and research
in
Fudan
University
. Her research interest is study on the cellular and molecular
mechanisms of neuronal injury and neuroprotection. She as first
or corresponding author has published more 30-research articles
in the pear review international journals. Because of her
research achievement, she was awarded as Chang-Kong Scholar in
1999-2004 and HLHL Prize in 2004.
