许文燮，1983年毕业于吉林省延边医学院医学系，获学士学位，1993年毕业于延边医学院生理学专业，获硕士学位，1997年毕业于韩国国立汉城大学医学院，获博士学位。2000年3月～2001年3月在韩国国立全北大学医学院生理学教研室从事博士后工作。现任上海交通大学生命科学院生物医学工程系教授、博士生导师。现兼任中国神经科学会理事、上海神经科学会理事、中国生理学会消化内分泌代谢生殖生理学专业委员会委员、中国生理学会青年工作委员会委员、上海神经科学会理事、国家自然科学基金项目评人,中国《生理学报》和《世界华人消化病学》杂志的编委，《中国药理学报》、《中国神经科学》等杂志的同行审稿人。目前主要从事消化道平滑肌动力学及其离子通道机制方面的研究工作。2000年以来，共承担国家自然科学基金资助课题四项、教育部资助课题两项，在国内外重要的学术刊物和各类学术会议上发表了80多篇学术论文，其中收录于《SCI》论文25篇，已鉴定科研成果两项。2002年被评为吉林省主讲教授、教育部优秀骨干教师,2004年获得吉林 省科技进步二等奖。近五年来，参编《糖尿病的基础与临床》（人民军医出版社）和《神经胃肠病学与动力》（科学出版社）等两部专著，主编或参编全国成人教育专科用《生理学》（人民军医出版社）、卫生部计划教材专科用《生理学》（人民卫生出版社）、科学出版社出版的21世纪医学本科教材《生理学》等三部教材。1997年以来，共招收30名研究生，其中硕士生19名已毕业16名，招收博士生12名已毕业9名。
