研究领域及方向
主要从事痛觉信息传递和调制的研究,目前的工作主要集中在两个领域:
1、
痛相关情绪反应和痛“记忆”产生的细胞和分子机制。
疼痛是一种与组织损伤或潜在的损伤相关的不愉快的主观感觉和情绪体验,强烈的情绪色彩始终是痛区别于机体感受其它刺激的一个显著特征。因此,在疼痛的研究中,“如果只考虑到痛的感觉特性而忽视它的情感特征,这只是看到了问题的一部分,而且不是最重要的部分”(Melzack
and Casey, 1968)。我们的目标是研究痛相关情绪反应和痛“记忆”形成过程所涉及的胞内信号通路和相关脑区神经元的突触可塑性变化。
2、
慢性痛产生痛觉过敏的中枢机制。
慢性痛包括炎症痛、神经病理性痛和癌症痛。其共同的临床表现为:“痛觉过敏”、“触诱发痛”和“自发痛”。损伤和炎症可导致外周和中枢神经系统发生敏感化,中枢敏化涉及许多的递质/调质和受体系统,胶质细胞在调节和控制这些神经递质/调质的释放过程中发挥重要作用。目前我们主要采用慢性痛动物模型研究胶质细胞的功能状态对中枢敏化的产生和维持的影响。
